Step	Instructions
1	Choose the correct screw or fastener for your material and application.
2	Ensure the screwdriver or driver bit matches the screw head type (e.g., Phillips, flathead, hex).
3	Drill a pilot hole if necessary, using a drill bit slightly smaller than the screw diameter.
4	Insert the screw into the hole and align it with the surface.
5	Apply downward pressure on the screw and turn it clockwise using a screwdriver or power tool.
6	Stop turning the screw when it is flush with the surface or at the desired depth.
7	If using a nut, place it on the opposite side of the material and tighten it securely.
8	For larger screws or bolts, use a wrench to tighten the nut until secure.
9	Inspect the installation to ensure the screw or fastener is secure and properly seated.
